Car IconCourt Referred Distracted Driving Program

The Chautauqua Safety Village has developed a distracted driving program which can be utilized by courts to refer those who have received a summons for VTL 1225(c) or VTL 1225(d) or other similar violations. The program is designed to assist participants in understanding the negative effects of distractions on their ability to safely drive.

2022 classes are scheduled on the following Mondays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm:

2022 Class Dates:

  • February 7, 2022 
  • April 4, 2022 
  • June 6, 2022 
  • August 8, 2022
  • October 3, 2022
  • December 5, 2022

There is a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 15 participants per class. If the minimum number is not met, participant(s) will be contacted and the class will be rescheduled.

Fees:

  • $30.00 Cash
  • $31.20 for credit card
  •  No checks please

Registration and payment can be completed below.  If paying in cash, please bring the exact amount. If you do not have access to a computer, please call to register.

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to notify the court that they have successfully completed the course. There is a fee of $5.00 for a replacement certificate.
